Living Will
A living will is a declaration that addresses how and if life-prolonging procedures should be implemented for a person who becomes end-stage, terminal or is in a persistent vegetative state. It is very important to understand that a Living Will is different from a Health Care Surrogate. A Living Will addresses your wishes regarding end-of-life care. A Health Care Surrogate names who you want to make medical decisions for you in the event you cannot make such decisions yourself.
